At Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), part of the SATS Group, more than 50,000 colleagues work across the globe. At Schiphol, we also play an important role in the logistics chain. We ensure that goods reach their destinations quickly, safely, and efficiently. Every day, the whole world passes through our operation.
Our company is growing rapidly, reflecting a healthy and future-focused business. Are you the planner we are looking for? Can you use your planning talent to keep our operation running smoothly?
What will you do?
As a Personnel Planner in logistics, you make sure everything keeps moving. You maintain oversight and ensure that our warehouse and office teams always have the right people in the right place at the right time.
Because we operate on a 24/7 schedule, no two days are the same. One day you may be planning early shifts, the next day late shifts or night shifts. This variety makes the role dynamic and challenging. At the same time, you make sure everything complies with working time legislation, rest period requirements, and age-related regulations.
You are the central point of contact for everything related to workforce planning. You create and manage weekly rosters for different teams, adjust schedules when operational demands change, and make sure everyone knows where they stand.
Employees come to you with questions about their schedules, leave requests, or availability, and you are also able to explain agreements arising from the collective labour agreement (CLA). Thanks to your overview and structured approach, you prevent surprises and ensure that planning remains aligned with day-to-day operational reality.
You also look ahead. You identify staffing bottlenecks, contribute ideas for improvements, and coordinate with different departments to make planning smarter and more effective. Due to the continuous flow of import and export cargo, the operation is always moving and requires flexibility and quick decision-making.
With us, you will have the opportunity to proactively develop solutions, improve processes, and make a real impact on the daily operation. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to apply your analytical and organizational skills. If you enjoy planning, coordinating, and optimizing, this is the perfect role for you.
