We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven leader to strengthen our team and inspire others. As a Cargo Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for the entire logistics process and ensure that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.
In this role, you will lead the operational office department, overseeing the proper execution of all activities. You will identify bottlenecks, take the initiative to implement improvements, and ensure recurrin issues are properly handled. You will also manage staff schedules and working hours administration.
Beyond organizing daily processes, you will play a key role in guiding, motivating, and developing your team. You will conduct performance and absence reviews, create and maintain work instructions, and keep them up to date. Additionally, you will maintain close contact with customers and work intensively with other departments within WFS to safeguard the quality of our services.
As Cargo Office Supervisor, you will report directly to the SR Manager Cargo Office.
What you bring:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree level of education (or equivalent) and at least two years of experience in a similar role;
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and engage your team;
- Flexibility and resilience under pressure; solution-oriented with strong prioritization skills;
- Ability to quickly adapt when process obstacles arise, with sound knowledge of cargo office procedures;
- A proactive and responsible work attitude with the ability to work independently;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch and English;
- Proficiency with computers and software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
