Job Description
Job Title:  Warehouse Supervisor
Job Location (Short):  Amsterdam, NH, NLD, 1118LD

At our company, everything revolves around precision, quality, and speed. Every day, we handle goods that pass through Schiphol Airport on their way to destinations all over the world. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you play a key role in making this process run smoothly — safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

In this position, you are responsible for the entire logistics process within the warehouse. You lead the operation and ensure that everything comes together seamlessly. On the work floor, you are visible and approachable; colleagues know where to find you, and you know how to motivate them. With your positive energy and hands-on approach, you create a work environment where people feel valued and are encouraged to perform at their best.

You not only guide your team in carrying out their daily tasks but also in their personal growth and development. You coach, provide feedback where needed, and know how to inspire your employees to maintain high quality — even during peak periods. At the same time, you keep a sharp focus on safety, which is essential when handling sensitive pharmaceutical products.

You also focus on short-term operational matters, such as planning staff schedules and shifts, monitoring progress, and taking action in case of disruptions, complaints, or changing requests and schedules from clients.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you act as the main point of contact for the client. You ensure clear communication, safeguard agreements, and report on progress to the Senior Warehouse Manager. With your insight into logistics processes, you identify opportunities for improvement and actively contribute to the continuous optimization of operations.

This role requires a natural leader who thrives in the dynamic environment of the airport — someone who maintains oversight, makes confident decisions, and understands the importance of every detail. If you are energized by leading people, improving processes, and working in an international setting where every minute counts, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s level education (or equivalent) and at least two years of experience in a leadership role
  • Flexible, resilient, and solution-oriented, with strong prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to hold both motivating and challenging conversations
  • Experience conducting performance and absence reviews, and coaching and motivating teams
  • Sound understanding of warehouse processes, both operational and administrative, and confident using computer systems
  • Independent, proactive, and focused on collaboration and continuous improvement

What we offer:

  • A salary between €3,270 and €4,605, depending on experience
  • Travel allowance and parking facilities
  • A position for 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Flexible shifts on weekdays and weekends
  • Pension scheme with the majority paid by WFS
  • A one-year contract with the possibility of a permanent position
  • A dynamic, fast-growing work environment at Schiphol Airport
