Mission:
The Lean Six Sigma Program Manager EMEAA is responsible for embedding a culture of excellence across the organization based on Lean tools and Six Sigma principles, which drives continuous improvement and operational excellence across all business functional areas and processes. The Program Manager will play an active role in driving accelerated operating and financial performance by upskilling employees via the Lean Six Sigma program and mentoring candidates’ projects with tangible impact for the organization. In parallel, they will work closely with the Program Director in the implementation and evolution of the overall Lean Six Sigma Program at WFS.
Main responsibilities:
Training Delivery:
- Conduct Green Belt training sessions for candidates in their respective regions, ensuring adherence to the standardized curriculum and training materials provided by the Program Director.
- Facilitate interactive and engaging training sessions to effectively transfer knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, tools and techniques to Green Belt students.
- Provide guidance and support to students throughout their training, clarifying concepts, addressing questions, and offering real-world examples.
Mentoring and Coaching:
- Serve as mentors to Green Belt students, guiding them through the Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control (DMAIC) methodology and helping them apply Lean Six Sigma tools to their projects.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to Green Belts, at regularly scheduled intervals, assisting them in project selection, data analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
- Share personal experiences, lessons learned and experience from other Green Belt candidates to inspire and motivate trainees to drive continuous improvement within their areas of responsibility.
Project Oversight:
- Ensure projects developed by Green Belt candidates are aligned with organizational goals, with clear objectives and feasible scope.
- Monitor project progress through regular checkpoints, reviewing data analysis, problem-solving efforts, and implementation plans.
- Contribute to the definition, organization and delivery of training sessions
- Involved in regular reviews of training material
Qualifications, skills, experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- English professional language proficiency required, plus an additional language between Spanish and French, ideally both
- Must be comfortable interacting with and coaching individuals at various levels of an organization with the appropriate level of tact
- Must be a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred
- Must have an extremely high level of integrity and confidentiality
- As a regional role this role requires international travels (~25% travel)
- Previous experience teaching Lean Six Sigma certifications at any level
