Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), part of the SATS Group, is a leading player in the international air cargo industry, with more than 50,000 employees worldwide. At Schiphol, we play an important role in the logistics chain. In a dynamic, 24/7 environment, we ensure that goods reach their destinations safely, quickly and efficiently.
Our organisation is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen our team.
In this role, you will help shape how our organisation manages its workforce, capacity and performance. Your insights will help keep operations running efficiently, support financially sustainable growth and ensure we deliver the best possible service to our customers.
You will work closely with Operations, Planning, Finance and other departments. You will analyse complex data on workforce, cargo volumes, productivity and costs, translating it into clear insights that guide decision-making. You will also look ahead by developing scenarios, preparing forecasts and identifying potential bottlenecks early.
You are confident in your judgement and make well-founded decisions based on data and insight. You carefully consider the interests of different stakeholders and provide clear direction on complex issues.
At the same time, you understand that decisions are never made in isolation. You will work in an environment where operational feasibility, financial targets, workforce implications and customer commitments all come together. You know how to balance these considerations and develop recommendations that are realistic, well-supported and practical to implement.
You combine analytical depth with an understanding of day-to-day operations. You gather information not only from systems and dashboards, but also through collaboration with planners, team leaders and managers. This ensures your analyses reflect the realities of the workplace and deliver tangible value. Depending on your experience, you will help further develop the analytics and planning function and support or guide colleagues in their professional development.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys tackling complex challenges, takes ownership of their recommendations and wants to make an impact in a dynamic operational environment.
