To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with operations and management to improve and standardize processes within our organization.
You will be active within both the cargo office and the warehouse, playing a key role in identifying, analyzing, and implementing improvements. You stay close to the operation and ensure that processes are not only improved but also consistently followed.
This position is mainly office-based, with working hours from Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required when needed to support operations, for example in shifts or during weekends.
What will you do?
• Analyze processes and identify inefficiencies within the cargo office and warehouse
• Support the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Guide and safeguard process changes within operations
• Engage employees and managers in improvements and create buy-in
• Perform analyses such as time studies, workflow analyses, and root cause analyses
• Work with CI methodologies such as 5S and PDCA
• Monitor performance through KPIs, dashboards, and audits
• Support managers in improving processes and ways of working
What do you bring?
• Experience in an operational environment such as warehouse, logistics, or air cargo
• Affinity with process improvement and Continuous Improvement
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and the ability to engage others in change
• A structured way of working and a proactive mindset
• Experience with Lean methodologies is a plus (or willingness to learn, for example through Green Belt)
