To strengthen our team, we are looking for several full-time supervisors (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of coordinators and other team members in the assigned areas.
• Conducting employee interviews and promoting their professional and personal development.
• Coordinating processes along the entire freight chain in compliance with legal requirements (customs, air safety, dangerous goods).
• Daily management of the coordinators under your responsibility and ensuring optimal shift planning.
• Close coordination with airlines, freight forwarders, authorities, and internal departments such as warehouse, security, and customer service.
• Identifying and implementing improvement measures in operational and documentary processes.
• Active participation in strategic transformation projects for digitization and process standardization.
• Ensuring smooth information flow between shifts, departments, and external partners.
• Identifying and tracking hazards.

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding agent, air transport agent, or equivalent training.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of air freight and at least 2 years of management experience.
• Fluent German (at least C1 level) and very good English skills (at least B2 level) in spoken and written.
• Very good knowledge of import and export processes in air freight handling, customs, dangerous goods, and air safety regulations, as well as occupational safety and compliance with safety regulations.
• Knowledge in quality assurance.
• Ability to make confident decisions and take responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills as well as strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in conflict and change management.
• Very good knowledge of air freight IT systems and warehouse management systems.
• Suitability and willingness to work in alternating shifts (early, late, and night shifts).
