Mission:

The EMEAA HSSE Administrator is a regional position responsible for managing Pulse information to support leaders and employees as needed to manage performance.

It is a key role, working closely with the Global Owner of Application (GOA) and country Pulse Champions, to support data quality for performing accurate analyses and developing effective QHSSE strategies.

The job owner will undertake other tasks in the field of HSSE as and when required.

Job responsibilities:

  • Pulse community Management
    • Support GAO work with Enablon programming team when necessary 
    • Understand Pulse users’ profiles: Identify different user types, such as beginners, advanced users, and power users and tailor communication and support accordingly
    • Regularly gather feedback to understand user needs, preferences, and difficulties or challenges
    • Ensure clear Communication: keep Pulse users informed about updates, new features, and maintenance schedules. Provide comprehensive and accessible documentation issued by GOA, including FAQs, tutorials, and user guides
    • Provide Effective Support: Set up a support system for handling issues and queries, create a forum or community platform where users can help each other and share tips
    • Gather feedback from users to improve the software and the support services and escalade complex issues to GOA when necessary
    • User account Management: support country Pulse champions with managing user permissions, roles and access to the different modules of Pulse based on their job role
    • Ensure accounts that are no longer required or that have not been used for more than 6 months are deleted.
    • Pulse organisation structure: support country Pulse champions to ensure Pulse structure reflects the building structure
    • Training: provide HSSE Pulse software training sessions (train the trainers) and cascade tutorials issued by GOA to help users get up to speed with the software.
    • Build and maintain relationships with internal clients and assist with data collection efforts to support investigation and other activities as necessary. Partner with Pulse Champions to improve inspection, incident, accident and near miss reporting
    • Manuals improvement: provide input to improve regional and global manuals 
    • Extraction of pulse environmental data for transfer into the SATS tool
  • Data Quality Management
    • Data accuracy and relevance: perform audits to ensure data correctly reflect reality and are pertinent to the context
    • Completeness: look for missing information in critical fields
    • Data privacy: understand data privacy laws within EMEAA and ensure sensitive data is handled appropriately
    • Validity: Ensure data adhere to predefined rules (e.g. English language when required)
    • Work with country Quality to ensure all inspections, investigation and action plans are completed within a timely manner
    • Participate in User acceptance testing for new functionality or Pulse upgrade
  • Data analysis
    • Monitor the trends of events and provide trimester reports on high-risk areas to facilitate risk-based decision making.
    • Support the analysis of data using tools like Microsoft Power BI or Excel, or other data visualization and/or database programs to prepare reports and dashboards for HSSE and internal clients to assist with managing HSSE performance
    • Track key performance indicators

Skills and knowledge:

  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using Pulse and PowerBI
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to details to diagnose and resolve issues effectively
  • Patience and empathy for understanding and addressing user concerns in a customer-friendly manner
  • Understanding of key HSSE performance indicators and metrics that are critical to the business and how to track and report on them
  • Understanding of the business context and objectives to ensure that data analysis aligns with company goals
  • Ability to handle incomplete or unstructured data by transforming it, with users, into a usable format
