WFS Denmark is looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to deliver reliable, secure and modern IT services. The role supports day-to-day business operations, workplace technology, Microsoft 365 services, endpoint management, cybersecurity compliance and local IT improvement projects.

 

As a trusted IT partner, the IT Support Engineer works closely with business stakeholders, regional and global IT teams, and external service providers to ensure high-quality technology support and a strong end-user experience.

 

Role Summary

Primary Focus
End-user support, local IT operations and escalation management.

Environment
Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows 11, networking and workplace technology.

Success Indicators
Customer satisfaction, SLA performance, security compliance, documentation quality and project delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

End-User Support & Service Delivery

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for incidents and service requests.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, mobile device and application issues.
  • Manage service tickets in line with agreed priorities and service levels.
  • Act as the primary local point of contact for critical IT incidents.
  • Deliver clear, timely and professional communication to users at all levels.

 

Microsoft 365 & Digital Workplace

  • Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.
  • Assist with Entra ID identity and access management activities.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding and access provisioning processes.
  • Maintain and support collaboration and productivity tools.

 

Infrastructure & Operations

  • Support local LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, printers, scanners, VoIP and meeting room technology.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and managed service providers for operational support.
  • Ensure local IT services remain stable, secure and aligned with business requirements.

 

Endpoint & Device Management

  • Deploy, configure and maintain Windows 11 laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
  • Support device lifecycle activities including preparation, deployment, replacement and disposal.
  • Maintain endpoint standards and support compliance through modern device management tools.

 

Security & Compliance

  • Support corporate cybersecurity initiatives and local policy compliance.
  • Assist with MFA, Conditional Access, identity controls and endpoint security practices.
  • Support vulnerability remediation, audits, backup, recovery and business continuity activities.

 

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in local and regional technology deployments, migrations and modernization initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT service quality and user experience.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures and knowledge articles.
  • Collaborate with regional and global IT teams on standardization and best practice adoption.

 

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor degree, associate degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT Support Engineer, IT Administrator, Service Desk or similar role.

Environment: Experience supporting enterprise environments, external vendors and multinational or multi-site operations is preferred.

Practical Information
This is a full-time position (37 hours per week) based at WFS Denmark A/S, Kystvejen 32, 2770 Kastrup. You will report to the Technology Business Partner Northern Europe Director and become part of the station's IT organization.
 
Salary will be determined individually based on experience and responsibilities. The expected salary range is DKK 37,000-43,000 per month, plus pension and other benefits.
 
Employment is subject to successful completion of an enhanced background check in accordance with Copenhagen Airport's security requirements.
