Our Finance department is responsible for the accounting processing of financial figures and timely, high-quality reporting to the WFS Group. It works closely with other departments to optimise the quality of financial data.

As a junior accountant, you will be responsible for supplier accounting, assist with customer accounting and help with the preparations for the monthly reporting to the SATS Group.

Main Responsibilities:

Supplier accounting:

• Processing purchase invoices and expense reports
• Monitoring the status of outstanding invoices in the approval process
• Processing bank statements
• Monitoring outstanding supplier items
• Monitoring the supplier accounting mailbox
• Preparing payments

Customer accounts:

• Providing support to the credit controller
• Factoring
• Direct debits

General accounting tasks:

• Monthly processing of various entries such as depreciation, commissions, leasing costs, etc.
• Providing support with simple month-end closing tasks
• Ad hoc accounting tasks

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree: Accountancy
• Initial work experience of min 2 years is required
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French, good knowledge of English
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with SageBob and related software programmes is a plus
• Willingness to learn other packages and work tools
• You have an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn attitude
