Mission

The mission and purpose of this position is to handle cargo safely, promptly, and efficiently while adhering to all operational procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

KPI’s

• Cargo Handling performance [DG/special cargo event, Misloading, mishandling, contour issue, weight discrepancy, Cargo Damage, GSE damage]
• Safety / Security Compliance
• Measurable Behavior [Successfully complete required Trainings, absenteeism, Time-keeping]

Main responsibilities

• Load/unload cargo from trucks, containers, and pallet and record cargo using the WMS.
• Organize shipments according to flight/route/customer specifications.
• Follow IATA, CAA, or other security guidelines when handling cargo.
• Count, reconcile, and report cargo discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or trolleys safely.
• Assist with paperwork and verification for inbound/outbound cargo.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.

Profile

• Experience in Warehouse, Transport or Logistics (preferably in air freight) is a plus
• Good oral and written knowledge of one of the national languages (Dutch/French) and good knowledge of the second national language.
• Basis knowledge of English
• In possession of a driving license B
• Being able to drive a forklift
• Good physical condition

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of cargo handling procedures
• Use of WMS systems
• Knowledge of required regulations (through training)
• Handling of Dangerous Goods (DGR) / Special Cargo Compliance with quality and safety standards
• Operational communication Knowledge of MS365
